Wendy has proven leadership abilities and a passionate commitment to the best interests of the Upstate. Voters in Greenville County are concerned about out of control spending, the accountability of state agencies to the public, the rising numbers of illegal immigrants and the election of liberal judges to the bench in South Carolina. Wendy pledges to work tirelessly to rein in spending, to secure South Carolina’s borders, and to vote for conservative judges.

Wendy is married to Tim Nanney and is the daughter of Bob Jones University Dean, Dr. Bob Taylor. She graduated from Bob Jones University in 1987 with degrees in business administration and political science. She is a past chairman of the Greenville County Republican Party, former treasurer of Upstate Republican Women, and former staff assistant to the chief legal counsel for Sen. Jesse Helms on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The Nanneys have five children. She is credit manager for Interfilm Holdings in Piedmont, South Carolina.
